What Is "The Eternal Plan of Love and Light"?  Dr. Kala Iyengar, Brahma Kumaris

Dr. Kala Iyengar joined the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University as a student of Raja Yoga at the University Branch New York in 1982. She was the Coordinator of activities in New York for the international project "Million Minutes of Peace" and in 1987 to 1988 she was the coordinator of regional activities for the international project, "Global Cooperation for a Better World." In 1994 to 1998 she was the Brahma Kumaris' representative to UNICEF. Currently she is a teacher of Raja Yoga meditation, stress-free living and related courses. She is also the Indo-American liaison person for the development of the global hospital and research center and is the school physician for the Jamaica school health demonstration program at Jamaica hospital in New York.

How Are the Objectives and Goals of the United Nations Part of the Plan of Love and Light for Our Planet?   Dorothy Tilson, UNA/USA, NYC Theosophical Society

Dorothy Tilson has worked with the United Nations Association for the past five-six years particularly focused on the global policy projects which included sustainable development, human rights, financing the United Nations and the elimination of nuclear and other weapons. She is a member of the World Federalists who are seeking ways to strengthen the United Nations and is a member of the World Futurists, working with those who are focused on the work of the United Nations.

What Challenges Does the UN Face as It Seeks to Fulfill Its Objectives and Goals? How Can We Help the UN Meet These Challenges?  Dr. Wally N'Dow, Convener, State of the World Forum 2000

Dr. N'Dow has served the United Nations as Ambassador from Gambia for twenty years. He was the Secretary-General of the United Nations' City Summit in 1996 and he is the Convener of the State of the World Forum 2000 that will take place this fall here in New York City.
