Transforming Consciousness Through the Practice of Raja Yoga Meditation
and the Six-Fold Progression of Divine Love

Dr. Susan MacNeil Houtkooper, Ph.D.

This meditation, to me, is a service activity to pour the energies of light and love and the will-to-good into human minds and hearts in order to fulfill the Plan and Purpose of our creator, called the Planetary Logos. We are taught that the energies come from the Planetary Logos, who resides in Shamballa, through the masters of the wisdom, then the NGWS, in order to reach humanity. It's called the science of invocation and evocation. It is a group meditation and is meant to expand world consciousness. It comes out of the Ageless Wisdom teachings and is a form of Raja Yoga.

Raja yoga, (or the yoga of the mind) is known as the science of union and alignment. It is a creative meditation utilizing a seed thought and visualization to become a part of the flow of Love, which is the consciousness of God, the substance of our living in the world, and the light and the height of freedom for all beings.

As we do this meditation every full moon period, when the energies from the higher sources are most available, we become inspired as love pulses through the universe in a divine rhythm, so that we can distribute the higher ideals of love, joy, one humanity, and Purpose into the world to awaken humanity and improve the condition of the suffering of our planet.

The work is through the higher mind, or the abstract mind, as opposed to the lower mind, and we are told that this is the searchlight of the soul and Spirit. This practice, over time, through the experience of being in the divine flow, leads us to the unity and synthesis of the recognition that we are all One family, One humanity and must work and live to take care of each other.

We use creative meditation as a planetary service. In Raja yoga we have individual meditations as well, for the same purpose, guiding us to our souls. And, we also have two redemptive meditations wherein we come together as a group subjectively, meaning on the mental plane. One is on Thursdays, the "Reflective Meditation on Preparation for the Reappearance of the Christ" the other is on Sundays, a "Reflective Meditation on Attracting Money for Hierarchical Purposes."

To my mind, the Six-fold Progression of Divine Love is an evolution and opening to the heart center. It lifts us from our individual selves and personalities to the greater purpose of group consciousness, selflessness and harmlessness, which I see as being the essential ideals that must manifest in the world in these times. I see the Six-fold Progression of Divine Love as an evolution in consciousness.
